Concert 1 - Saturday evening, November 18, 2006, 8:00 PM
Annual "A Holiday Prelude" Concert — "Heavenly Light"

We are pleased to continue this Spectrum Singers tradition with a string orchestra-accompanied program celebrating the holidays. Three works by British composer Gerald Finzi will be offered: In Terra Pax, Magnificat, and Romance for String Orchestra. An assortment of unaccompanied shorter works, including some wonderfully spiritual pieces by Frank Ferko and Morten Lauridsen will round out this event. Acclaimed Baritone Donald Wilkinson will be our featured soloist.

Concert 2 - Saturday evening, March 10, 2007, 8:00 PM
"Haydn and Mozart Masterworks" with Orchestra of Emmanuel Music

The renowned Orchestra of Emmanuel Music joins us to perform Haydn’s spirited “Lord Nelson” Mass and Mozart’s invigorating Vesperae Solennes de Dominica, KV 321, with Kendra Colton as our soprano soloist in both. Our quartet of superb vocal soloists also features Gloria Raymond, Alto, Jason McStoots, Tenor, and Donald Wilkinson, Baritone.

Concert 3 - Saturday evening, May 5, 2007, 8:00 PM
"Journeys of the Spirit"

The chorus will offer Frank Martin’s Mass for a cappella Double-Chorus, and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s vibrant and colorful Romancero Gitano with virtuoso guitarist John Muratore. Mr. Muratore will also perform selected works for solo guitar.
